About This Spot

Stepping into Thai Jasmine, you’re greeted by a modest, unpretentious space where the aromas of Thai spices gently mingle with the soft hum of conversation. It’s the kind of neighborhood spot where the pace slows just enough for you to settle in comfortably, whether you’re escaping a busy day or seeking a quiet meal with friends or family. The atmosphere carries a subtle warmth, reflecting the care behind each dish served, even if the setting is more functional than fanciful.

Here, the menu reads like a thoughtful tapestry of Thailand’s varied flavors, offering familiar comforts alongside spirited surprises. From the fresh snap of spring rolls paired with tangy sauces to the creamy reverence found in their coconut-based soups and curries, every plate is an invitation to explore vibrant layers of taste. The kitchen’s focus on fresh ingredients and authentic preparations shines through in dishes like the fragrant basil fried rice or the softly spiced Panang curry, even in moments when service ebbs and flows with the natural rhythm of a local favorite.

As you linger over a silky Thai iced tea or a delicate dessert, the subtle background notes of a bustling yet relaxed dining room remind you that this is an everyday oasis—a place where Thai Jasmine’s heart is rooted firmly in providing honest, fresh flavors without fuss. Regulars appreciate the dependable goodness, and while the space is modest, it fosters a quiet familiarity that welcomes you back time and again.

Wonderful food, but service was just fair. We also were in the restaurant 5-10 minutes after closing and still eating our meals. We asked for to-go boxes and then wanted dessert. (They have wonderful Coconut Ice Cream.) However, we were told that the kitchen was “closed” and they were unwilling to even scoop ice cream into a bowl. It’s not like we asked for anything that required preparation or cooking. We just wanted a scoop in a bowl. They still refused and said the kitchen was closed. This is goes against any restaurant etiquette concerning guests who come in before closing. They could have come to us before closing and asked if we want ed anything before they closed the kitchen, or they should keep Someone in the kitchen to handle reasonable requests of guests who are still inside the restaurant. I’ve never been refused like this in all my 65 years on earth!

The food was great. I got the crispy duck and kid got Panang curry with tofu. He also got the Thai tea which is ridiculously sweet and so, so good. The service was very good and very smiley but a touch slow. The restaurant smelled delicious as we walked in but it is just a little dinky. Certainly not much to complain about. Would definitely go again.

Food was spectacular but we did see a tiny little baby roach on the wall next to our table. It's prob time for pest control visit. But we all know restaurants have some degree of pests, it's expected. Their health department score is 98 so that's good too.

The food is ALWAYS GOOD. The service wasn't the best today, which is very unusual. We were seated immediately ordering water and tea, but then waited a long time before receiving anything to drink. Then we ordered appetizers and our meals, and everything came out at the same time. However, this was a 1st and isolated incident here. I highly recommend Thai Jasmine. The food is vary good and you won't be disappointed.

I was craving Thai and found this place along 54. I ordered hot and sour chicken soup, red curry with shrimp, and the basil noodles with beef. The basil noodles were good but could have used more flavor. The red curry with shrimp was excellent! Super creamy and packed a ton of flavor. As for the hot and soue soup, it was neither hot nor sour. It was quite bland and didn't have any heat. The staff is super friendly and for the amount of food you get, the prices are great!
